The Louisville Metro area is home to two Ford assembly plants and just 45 minutes away is a Toyota manufacturing plant in Georgetown. Kentucky. The automotive program at the Bullitt County Area Technology Center is uniquely positioned to offer many career opportunities for our students.

Students in this program will take a 2-year 4-course sequence in automotive maintenance and light repair and will receive ASE MLR certification after passing the industry certification examination. Course descriptions and sequence are linked below in the Program of Studies.

Our partners at JCTC gives our students access to specialized programs like Toyota T-Ten and Mercedes Benz Accelerate. ECTC allows our students to access their Diesel Technology program.

Toyota has supplied our program with a Lexus, a Camry Hybrid, two combustion engines, and two hybrid engines.
