What is the Career Readiness Center (CRC)?
The CRC is a program that serves students who also attend the Area Technology Center. Instead of attending one of the three main high schools for core classes, CRC students take those classes at the Riverview Opportunity Center (ROC), which is also home to the BAMS program.
Students that attend the CRC can still participate in all of extracurricular activities from their home high school, such as sports, dances, marching band, etc.
What benefits does the CRC have?
Get core classes all at ROC, which is right next door to the Area Technology Center (ATC)
Small class sizes
Students can enter the workforce/co-op quicker
Flexible scheduling - we can work around Dual Credit classes, co-op, etc.
Possibility of taking two pathways at once
Less lost instructional time for travel - the ATC is right next door!
Starting in 24-25, Freshmen take CIT 105 - a college class covered under the Dual Credit scholarship!
