The mission of the Human Resources Department of BCPS is to recruit, select, and retain a highly qualified and diverse workforce to educate and provide support for all students through competent and caring customer service. HR also works to ensure adequate coverage exists when teachers or staff are absent, identify primary reasons for employee turnover with the goal of increasing staff engagement, and ensure schools have support staff necessary to complete required tasks.
