KySTE

Bullitt County Public Schools (BCPS) is committed to being future-focused, and this commitment was on full display as a group of BCPS educators attended and presented at the Kentucky Society for Technology in Education (KySTE) Conference. This annual event brings together educators from across the state to explore innovative teaching practices, emerging technologies, and cutting-edge strategies to enhance student learning.

Several of our staff members were not only participants but leaders at this year’s conference, delivering engaging sessions that showcased the power of technology in education.

Investing in Growth and Excellence

Beyond those leading sessions, many BCPS educators also attended KySTE to learn from others, network with fellow professionals, and bring back new ideas to enrich our classrooms. This dedication to professional learning reflects our commitment to proactive innovation and always striving for excellence.

BCPS is proud to have staff members who not only embrace new learning opportunities but also contribute to the broader education community by sharing their expertise. Their leadership and passion for proactive innovation ensure that our students receive the very best educational experiences.

Celebrating a KySTE Grant Win!

In addition to the many BCPS educators who presented and attended sessions, we are thrilled to recognize Ms. Thompson, Ms. Delong, and Ms. Perkins from Eastside Middle School, who were awarded the 2025 KySTE Outreach Grant! Their efforts secured $15,000 in grant funding, which will directly support innovative learning opportunities for students at Eastside.

This award is a powerful example of our educators’ dedication to seeking new resources and opportunities that benefit students and our community — just another example of BCPS' commitment to Proactive Innovation.
