Good afternoon, BCPS Families!
We are so excited to welcome everyone back for the 2022-2023 school year! Before we get things started tomorrow morning, we wanted to provide a few important updates for our families:
Transportation
Our transportation staff is hard at work trying to ensure the final details of our routing plans are as up to date as possible. Keep in mind, there will be slight tweaks up to and beyond the first day of school. Please keep an eye on our new Bus Finder system so that you are in the know when it comes to your child's transportation. Check back often as routing details continue to change. Our transportation department will also use their Facebook Page to communicate any daily transportation changes, so be sure to give that page a follow if you’re on Facebook!
Communications
In addition to these messages that might be utilized throughout the district, you will also soon receive a message from the number 98900 that will be used regularly as well. Please note that opting out of these messages will result in receiving limited messages from BCPS, including but not limited to potentially missing important notifications regarding school closures and emergency notifications. Be looking for a message soon from 98900 so that you can opt in to those messages!
COVID Information
At this point, masking will be the decision of each individual family in Bullitt County Public Schools. As always, we do recommend that families follow the current CDC recommendations related to masking. You can see our most up-to-date COVID guidelines and information for BCPS at this link.
As always, we appreciate your flexibility and understanding as we get into the routine of consistent procedures and processes during the back-to-school season.
We can’t wait to see everyone tomorrow!!
