On Wednesday, December 14th, some of our students and staff from Bullitt Central High School traveled to Shelbyville to present to the Ohio Valley Education Cooperative's (OVEC) Board of Directors about their recent Farm to Table event.
The students gave an amazing presentation about their collaboration and hard work leading up to the event itself and shared that they're looking forward to making this an annual event! They talked about how each of the six elements of the BCPS Graduate Profile played a critical role in their preparation.
While there, they also received a check for $1,000 from OVEC.
Before leaving, BCPS Assistant Superintendent, Adrienne Usher, had this powerful message to share with the students that presented, "What you all just did in there could very likely change the course of education in other school districts."
BCPS always strives for Proactive Innovation and we were extremely excited to be able to share this unique Project-Based Learning experience with superintendents from across the state.
