Tomorrow is BCPS’s 100th Day of School! The 100th Day of School is a milestone that represents progress, growth, and achievement for all students, particularly for our younger elementary students who find joy in counting up to the 100th Day. This is a day for students to celebrate their progress in their academics and any other individual accomplishments.
This day also marks the halfway point of the school year, and can be utilized by educators as a way to reassess class and student goals, set new goals based on previous achievement, or pivot in teaching methods. The 100th Day of School is planned to be celebrated by at least two of our Elementary Schools, Cedar Grove and Pleasant Grove.
We recommend taking some time with your student tomorrow to celebrate all the hard work they’ve put in to bring them to the 100th Day of School. BCPS is proud of each of our students and their own unique educational journeys!
