Thank you for all that you do for our school!

Monday was Preschool Fall Family Night and our youngest Bulldogs celebrated in style! What a fun evening! Thank you to Ms. Brothers and Mr. Adams in the FRC for organizing and decorating for our families.

A huge shout out to our community partners who have joined together to grant money to our Steam Lab to support programs and learning. During yesterday's first quarter celebration, we had an official check presentation. Together, QK4, 7NT Engineering, Bryant Associates, and Magana Engineering donated a total of $5,775.00. As the Steam Lab begins working to implement new tools and programs, these companies will be providing representatives who will come into LJES to work with students to give feedback and guidance from the engineering perspective. Thank you to these companies for partnering with us! #BCPSMovingForward

Our first quarter assembly was a blast! We played games and celebrated accomplishments from the past 9 weeks of school. Thanks to Sanders Farm for donating admission as a prize for our game winner!

Look at that smile! That's the face of a good friend, a constant encourager, and an everyday strive to help others be their best self. Way to go, Audrey!

What a wild week! Donuts with Grownups, a family night, book fair, and BCPS Goes Gold. It was a lot in one week, but we made it! Thanks for supporting not just LJES, but also for supporting the families of those impacted by childhood cancer through your donations. This week's Bulldog Bark can be found at the link below.

Congrats to our scavenger hunt winners from our Outdoor Adventure Family Night!

The positive referrals are rolling in as we finish out this week. These are our favorite kind of phone calls to make home. We love celebrating the ways our students excel in behavior, academics, and just being good humans.
