Literacy skills were a must to break the code to escape from the moon. No students were injured and all made it back to Earth. Lots of excitement and fun did occur and it was great to see all who came out. We also thank the Dream Bus that allowed all students to visit and take home a book of choice. The door prize winners will be announced tomorrow!!

Teachers worked yesterday during the Bullitt Day on the importance of authentic learning and the Graduate Profile. This also included putting the ideas into practice during a team building scavenger hunt activity. We appreciate all their efforts!!

Thanks to those who were supporting kicking childhood cancer by wearing their hats and boots today. The amount of new toys being sent in as well has been tremendous. We can still support the cause by wearing gold and bringing in a toy tomorrow!! We can always count on our awesome MWES community.

Here are some familiar faces that took part in our DQ fundraiser last night. Thanks to all who stopped by after practice, between games or brought the family out for dinner. Because of your efforts the FRC was able to raise about $175. Great Job MWES community!

From MWES PTA:
Our fall fundraiser results are in and we fell short of our goal BUT we aren’t giving up yet! We’ve always met our goal and we know we can this year too! Our goal was set based on our past performance of Fall Fundraisers.
We did a little math and below is what we need from you to help us get there! We are going to host a ONE WEEK BLITZ!
If we don’t reach our goal serious cuts will have to be made to our planned budget. We’ve included a high level view of the budget so you can see how much of what we raise goes right in to the school, classrooms, programs, etc. There is a reason the Brave community is so great it’s because we support our school!
We will be sending out a google survey once we finally wrap things up about the fundraiser to get your opinions but until then we NEED YOUR HELP!!
An added incentive to all classes who have 100% participation, we will celebrate you with a popsicle party!!
Please help us reach our goal!!
**Donations can be sent by cash in envelope marked for PTA fundraiser with your students name, check made out to MWES PTA with note of your students name or online using this web address with note of your students name until 9/21 https://app.memberhub.gives/paythedate/Campaign/Details
Thank you!!
