Mrs. Kim Lesher continues her service with Bullitt County Public Schools as the new Assistant Principal of Mt. Washington Middle School.
Mrs. Lesher brings with her 21 years of experience in education, including time spent serving as a teacher, building assessment coordinator, Instructional Coach, and Goal Clarity Coach. Mrs. Lesher has a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Morehead State, a master’s in Middle School Science from the University of Louisville, and an additional Masters of Arts in Educational Administration from Campbellsville University.
Mrs. Lesher says, “I am grateful for the opportunity to serve as Assistant Principal at MWMS. Helping students and staff is where my heart is and I am excited to lead in this new capacity.”
Kim is happily married to her husband of 22 years, Brandon, who teaches at Eastside Middle School in BCPS. The couple has two children: a son, Dalton, who runs cross country and track at Eastern Kentucky University where he is currently studying Elementary Education; and a daughter, Emma, who plays volleyball at Midway University and studies Health/Physical Education. In her free time, Kim loves to spend time with her family camping, hiking, and visiting national parks.
