ATTENDANCE MATTERS
03/06/2023
Nichols Knights Families,
To kick off National Reading Month in March, last week we celebrated Read Across America Week. We dressed up every day, we visited the Nichols Branch of the Public Library, and we all, students and staff alike, started reading our new book, “The Wild Robot” by Peter Brown. The homeroom teachers are reading the book aloud to their classes and everyone else on staff is reading it as well. Along the way, there will be STEM challenges and mysteries to solve, all connected to the book. We are all very excited about the project, including the students. Ask your child what they can tell you about Roz. I’m sure they’ll be excited to share.
Don’t forget that we will have our Safe Schools Audit on March 14th. We were able to schedule 9 parents to come in and speak to the audit team. To those who are coming in to participate, thank you so much! Also, thank you so much to all of you who participated in taking the Safe Schools Parent Survey. We had 28 surveys completed, which may not sound like a lot, but it’s actually a record for parent participation on surveys. Thanks again!
Upcoming dates:
