ATTENDANCE MATTERS
03/13/2023
Nichols Knights Families,
National Reading Month is underway. We are having so much fun reading “The Wild Robot” by Peter Brown as a whole school. On Thursday, I read a chapter to the students during our afternoon Celebration. It’s been a great way for the adults in the building to share our love of reading with the students.
We had our monthly Celebration on Thursday afternoon followed by House Parties.
Our class attendance trophy for February went to: 2nd/3rd Grade/Mr. Spaulding.
Agnew was awarded the House Spirit Award.
Our Mojo Banner was awarded to 5th Grade/Mrs. Kirk for the highest percentage of positive Dojo points.
Don’t forget that we will have our Safe Schools Audit on March 14th. We were able to schedule 9 parents to come in and speak to the audit team. To those who are coming in to participate, thank you so much! Also, thank you so much to all of you who participated in the Safe Schools Parent Survey. We had 28 surveys completed, which may not sound like a lot, but it’s actually a record for parent participation on surveys. Thanks again!
Upcoming dates:
03/14 - Safe Schools Audit
03/16 - Title I Family Night (Literacy, Math, and Technology)
3/17 - Spring Pictures
03/21 - District STEM Challenge
03/31 - PL Day - no school
4/3 - 4/7 Spring Break
Have a wonderful week!!
