ATTENDANCE MATTERS

04/21/2023

Nichols Knights Families,

We have so much fun this week!

  • This week was “I’m Special, I’m ME” week.  Mrs. Clark planned some great activities throughout the week to help students be proud and celebrate who they are. We had fun learning more about each other as we dressed up to show who we are and what we like.  Thank you, Mrs. Clark!

  • On Thursday we will be finished  “The Wild Robot” book. To celebrate, we had our Wild Robot parade! There was a buzz in the air as everyone prepared to show off their favorite character in the parade.  The Roz robots that each class made will be on display in the library all this week while the bookfair is open so you will get an opportunity to see all of the amazing, creative masterpieces.

  • “The Wild Robot” is actually a trilogy.  We will be reading “The Wild Robot Escapes” in the fall next year, and we will read “The Wild Robot Protects” in the spring.  So, please don’t read ahead.  We want to experience the next two books as a school just like we did this year.  Thank you Mrs. McBroom for the fabulous idea to do a school-wide book.  And thank you, Mrs. Ferrell, for the idea of celebrating today with a parade.

Upcoming dates:

4/24 - 4/28 - Book Fair

4/27 - PTA meeting 6:00 (We will conduct elections for next year’s PTA Board and SBDM Council parent representatives.  All candidates on the ballot should attend. We need a quorum to vote, so please plan to attend.)

4/29 - Spring Fling 2:00 - 4:30

Have a wonderful weekend !
