Nichols Knights Families,
What a day! Today we had a visit from the graduating senior class from Bullitt Central High School! Each year the seniors come to walk the halls of the elementary schools. The former Nichols Knights always pose a picture at the end of the walk. We normally only have about 5 or 6 students, but this year there were 14 seniors who had attended Nichols! It was so great to see them!
We also had Field Day today! Thank you so much, Mr. Hughes, for putting together another amazing field day. And thank you to our cafeteria ladies, Ms. Tasha and Ms. Stephanie, for providing a yummy lunch! The students did an excellent job of participating in the events and giving it their all. We saw lots of good sportsmanship on display. This was also the first year since COVID that we have allowed visitors to attend. We had almost 60 visitors today! Thank you to everyone who came out to enjoy the day with us!
