Nichols Knights Families,
I hope everyone was able to enjoy the beautiful weather last weekend. It was so nice to have the extra time to relax and enjoy family and friends.
We had our monthly Celebration on Thursday afternoon followed by House Parties.
Our class attendance trophy for August went to: Mrs Ferrell’s class.
Our Mojo Banner was awarded to Mrs. Tomes' class for the highest percentage of positive Dojo points.
Golden Awards:
Golden Spatula for cafeteria behavior - Mrs. Tomes' class.
Golden Sneakers for hallway behavior - Mrs. Thornsberry's class.
Golden Dustpan for cleanest classroom - Mrs. Reverman's class.

Don’t forget the Car Show tomorrow from 12:00 - 4:00! Join us at the Nichols Branch of the Public Library for a CAR SHOW! It will be a day of FUN, FOOD, MUSIC, GAMES, and PRIZES!
The Student handbook was shared on Class Dojo, can be found on the Nichols website, and is linked here. Each week at the beginning of the year, I will share a couple of tidbits from the Student handbook to answer questions we have been getting phone calls about.
This week’s tidbit is about:
CELL PHONES/Smart Watches
If a student brings a cell phone or Smart Watch/Apple Watch to school, it must be powered off and in the students’ backpack while at school. If this is not followed, the phone/watch will be taken from the student and given to the principal. The parent or guardian will be required to come and pick up the device.
