Nichols Knights Families,
What a great week! We had Santa Shop this week. Lots of students purchased many wonderful gifts for family and friends, and yes, probably a few things for themselves. 🙂
We also had our monthly Celebration and House Parties on Thursday. In our Celebration we celebrated the following:
The attendance trophy for highest attendance percentage in November was Mrs. Ferrell’s 4th grade!
The highest percentage of positive Dojo points award went to Mrs. Reverman’s Kindergarten!
I shared with the students that our Dreambox representative sent an email to me congratulating me on the excellent accomplishments of the Nichols Knights. She said we are an amazing example of how much can be learned if you work hard and reach the goal of 5 lessons per week.
Three students were selected to read their outstanding On-Demand Writing pieces. Very impressive!
Congratulations to all who were recognized! Go Knights!
Then, of course, last night SANTA WAS HERE! The Polar Express Title I Literacy Night was a huge success! Thank you Mrs. Allen for your vision and hard work, and thank you to the PTA Board as well. We had well over 150 people attend and everyone had a wonderful time.
Next week is our Holiday dress up week! Monday is Merry Monday! Wear red and green! Check out the rest of the days on the events page of the Nichols website. Holiday parties will be on Friday, Dec. 16th at 2:45.

BCPS has a new district website this year, and every school also has a new website. There is a lot of great information and it’s easy to find. My favorite feature is the Event Calendar.
