Our Nichols Elementary Principal Committee members are seeking student, staff, parent, and community input as we develop the final criteria we will use to select the next principal for NES. As a group, we have agreed to the following, but we would like your feedback for further criteria that we should be seeking in our next principal. The survey will close on Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at 4:30 PM. We appreciate you taking the time to give us input...thank you!

We're only one week away from Kindergarten graduation! They were practicing their song this morning!
Our school is taking proactive measures in response to potential weather forecasts for tomorrow. Each student will be sent home with a Chromebook today. It is important to note that BCPS has NOT made any decisions regarding school tomorrow at this time. Our school is working diligently to ensure we are prepared for any potential decision. Our hope and intention is for a normal school day tomorrow.
Happy Teacher Appreciation Week! We are so incredibly lucky to have an amazing team here at Nichols. Thank you for your patience, dedication and encouragement you give to our students every day. We truly couldn't do it without our teachers!
