Overdale Elementary School

First Day of Fall (9/22/22) Here are some great family ideas to do this fall: Visit a Farmers Market- find you lots of great foods and even some new friends Have a board game night/day- This is a big hit at my house! Make some popcorn and play your favorite board games together. Go camping- Even if its just in your backyard, enjoy the nice crisp weather together. Attend a local football/basketball game- support your community and get some quality time together. Arts and crafts night/day- great time to make gifts for Christmas coming up. Attend a fall festival- There are tons of these all season long. Overdale Elementary is on 9/30/22, it will be a great way to kick off your fall. Paint/Carve pumpkins- One of the best fall traditions, in my opinion :)

Fall Festival is next week 🎃! We can’t wait to see everyone there 😁😁😁! If you can, we still need candy donations for the Trick-or- Treating that night! Also classes are doing baskets to raffle off: 5th grade- Relaxation/spa 4th grade-movie theme 3rd grade- small gift cards ($5-$10) 2nd grade-Board games,cards, puzzles 1st grade- Christmas Kindergarten - Movie night If you can donate anything to your child’s grade level basket, that would be amazing 🤩! Please send any donations in with your child or drop off in the office! It’s going to be an AWESOME night!!

We will be selling tickets at the event as well (CASH ONLY night of). There will be a costume contest if your child wants to participate please fill out the form and send payment. All the forms relating to this event should be in your students Wednesday folder, please check it. 10/5(Wednesday) Picture day- please dress your best and be ready to smile 😊 After pictures are taken and processed you will be able to order them from the school or the Life-touch website. 10/3-10/6 Book Fair- more information to come 😊

Our Overdale students had a fun filled day today 😁! Kona Ice 🧊, Meet and greet with Ms. Megans mini pig (Mila) 🐷and the Mobile science bus 🧬! Lots of smiling faces today 😁 We love our students and staff, can’t wait to see what fun the rest of the school year has in store 🎊! -more pictures to come

ITS TODAY 9/13/2022, Bullitt County Schools HIGH ATTENDANCE DAY 🎉🎉! What does this mean? It means we need your student at school, because trust me they don’t want to miss out on all the fun this day 🙌🏻🙌🏻 1st off- The Mobile Science Center will be here doing some AWESOME projects 🧬🧫 2nd- It’s Kona Ice day 🧊, I mean who doesn’t want one of those 🎊 3rd- POPCORN PARTY 🎉 🍿🎉 We will be picking a class from (k-2) and (3-5), if there is a tie both classes will be rewarded! 4th- WE WANT YOUR CHILD AY SCHOOL! They are the reason our teachers and staff come to work everyday 💕! We want to see their smiling faces 😁😁 Let’s make this High Attendance Day 💯 percent !
