This past Bullitt Day our teachers continued diving into learning about integrating authentic learning experiences for our students!
Why is this important to us? Having opportunities for our students to have real world connections not only creates their learning to me more meaningful, but when they are more engaged, they enjoy learning! We want our students to look forward to collaborate and being at school everyday!
This weeks student spot light goes out to Hannah, Emma, Zane, and Oliver. ¨These 4 rock-stars have been amazing leaders since school started! They show up everyday ready to learn, put in their best efforts, and have the most positive attitudes. These are 4 KOALAS that are great examples of what our C.R.E.A.T.E. expectations are! Keep up the awesome work, kiddos. I am so proud of you all!" -Mrs. Boston

Tomorrow is the last day for the book fair! It has been a great week seeing all of our koalas picking out their favorite books. If your child has not been able to shop yet you still have time. You can add money to an e-wallet, send in cash, or we also take checks.

Professional learning is important for teachers because it helps them stay updated on new teaching strategies and techniques. It allows them to enhance their skills and knowledge, benefiting our students' learning experience.
Mrs. Compton and Mrs. Welch went to Mammoth Cave and received great resources, materials, and real life experiences to bring back to the classroom to our OMES Koalas. The teacher workshop that they attended focused on ecosystems and adaptations. #koalascreate
