During a recent classroom walkthrough, it was a privilege to observe our young learners reading aloud to their classmates. Watching them practice their fluency, build their confidence, and support one another was such a beautiful reminder of why we do what we do.

Today, Makayla stepped into the principal role and did an outstanding job! During her hour, Principal Makayla observed several student presentations, awarded multiple Positive Office Referrals, and even popped into the library to recognize students with LiveSchool points for being responsible and attentive during their lesson. 👏✨
She took her role seriously and worked hard every single minute. Way to lead, Makayla! 💜🐬

1st grade had an amazing visit with four community helpers Wednesday morning and their working dogs - Deputy Ford with Deputy Joli, Deputy Burden with Deputy Ardes and Deputy Simpson all with the Bullitt County Sheriff's Office and Officer Best with Officer Zita from the Mt. Washington Police Department. Deputies Ford and Joli showed us how she does her job with a game of hide and seek with boxes. It was informative and engaging and we even got to give Deputy Joli some love before she went back to work!
