👩‍💼💜 Principal Makayla for an Hour! 💜👩‍💼

Today, Makayla stepped into the principal role and did an outstanding job! During her hour, Principal Makayla observed several student presentations, awarded multiple Positive Office Referrals, and even popped into the library to recognize students with LiveSchool points for being responsible and attentive during their lesson. 👏✨

She took her role seriously and worked hard every single minute. Way to lead, Makayla! 💜🐬

I started my day with a little friendly competition after being challenged to a game of PIG by these awesome fellas! Let’s just say… their trick shots had me laughing and working to keep up! 😄

1st grade had an amazing visit with four community helpers Wednesday morning and their working dogs - Deputy Ford with Deputy Joli, Deputy Burden with Deputy Ardes and Deputy Simpson all with the Bullitt County Sheriff's Office and Officer Best with Officer Zita from the Mt. Washington Police Department. Deputies Ford and Joli showed us how she does her job with a game of hide and seek with boxes. It was informative and engaging and we even got to give Deputy Joli some love before she went back to work!

Our Volunteer Coordinators graciously sent over some adorable hand crocheted hearts with little tags for each student here as a Valentine's gift. These were made by members of our community for each school! The students will receive these during class celebrations tomorrow. We are so grateful for the love that was put into these precious gifts! Thank you to each person who took the time to make these.

Our Dolphins have been busy engaging in meaningful learning across classrooms—working independently on i-Ready MyPath, strengthening math skills through a base-ten fluency game, and writing formal letters advocating for an inclusive playground at PGE. We love seeing our students take ownership of their learning, build strong math foundations, and use their voices to make a difference in our school community. Way to go, Dolphins! ✨📚➕✍️

Our PGE students kicked off Kindness Week with Dreams of Kindness on Monday! Students wore their pajamas to symbolize the comfort, care, and warmth that kindness brings to our school community. From cozy clothes to kind hearts, our Dolphins showed that kindness is always in style. 🐬💤
