Fall Festive TONIGHT!

Fourth grade scientists in action:
Do mealworms prefer certain environments over others? After learning all living things use their senses, students designed their own tests. We will discover if mealworms prefer: warm or cold, apple or cheese, water or sanitizer, colors or brown, wet or dry, OJ or vinegar, spicy or salty.

Second grade wrapped up the school wide BFG book read aloud with a compare/contrast activity while watching the movie and enjoying some frobscottle on Friday!

Finding that book that grabs your attention and leaves you eager to read more is just what our fifth graders were looking for today during their Book Tastings! We can’t wait to hear about some of their choices🙃

Be sure to purchase your Fall Festival wrist band before Friday! You aren’t going to want to miss this incredible event!!

Don't forget about our Hallway Heroes Information Event tomorrow night from 5:30-6:30pm. We look forward to seeing you at PGE in the cafeteria to learn more!

The lost and found is getting very full and will be cleared out on Thursday. Please have your child check to see if they are missing any items.

Support our community and wear a hat on Friday for $1.00 donation!

Due to PGE having the highest elementary school attendance for the month of August we are celebrating with a school-wide PJ day tomorrow! We are proud of our students and families for making daily attendance a priority!! Way to go!

Nothing like a community partner, Mt. Washington Florist, providing us with a beautiful bouquet wishing us a great school year! Thank you for bringing brightening our day with these flowers!

PGE students enjoyed a visit from Southland Mobile Dairy farm. They learned about dairy cows and the importance of dairy products. Intermediate students learned the science behind making ice cream and 5th graders had a hand in churning homemade ice cream and shaking ice cream in a bag. Ask your child what they learned today.

THE BCPS APP IS NOW AVAILABLE!
We're thrilled to announce the new app for Bullitt County Public Schools! It's everything BCPS, in your pocket.

We had a great time celebrating Dot Day today! Students learned that they can make a mark on the world through words, actions or creativity. They enjoyed a book by Peter H. Reynolds, danced along to The Dot song and helped create two different murals that we will display at PGE.
