These teachers are both wonderful PACK leaders. We are so appreciative of what they do for ZMS.

Two students have recently shown great PACK values! Ms. Nuckolls says Nazira demonstrates Kindness: Nazira is always kind to both her teacher and other students in her group. She is helpful to everyone. Ms. Gilbert says Tristan shows all PACK values! As an unofficial office aide lately, he has been so kind and helpful to other students, and being a community contributor helping Ms. Gilbert with various tasks. She said he has been so awesome! Way to go both students! #bepartofthePACK

Stay in the know and read this month's Timberwolf Times! Lots of events are happening as we approach the end of the school year.

We are incredibly proud of our 8th graders for their outstanding behavior during our transition field trip to North Bullitt! You represented our school with maturity, respect, and PACK pride. We received numerous compliments from teachers, staff, students, and administration at North Bullitt, all praising how well-mannered, engaged, and courteous you were throughout the day. Thank you for setting such a positive example—you truly made us proud!

Good afternoon, BCPS has officially declared Wednesday-Friday as NTI days due to flooding. We will be following this schedule for NTI. Any way we can support our ZMS families during this time, we will do our best! Please reach out to our front office or our FRYSC Ashley Eskridge if your families are impacted by the flooding. Remember students can log onto Google Classrooms to access their virtual learning meetings.

If you have a BCPS student and you have been displaced from your home due to the recent severe weather/flooding, your student could be eligible for McKinney-Vento rights and services. Please contact the Board of Education at 502-869-8000 or fill out the BCPS Storm Assistance Survey.

Students interested in cheering next year, here are tryout times! Must have a sports physical on file to try out. 📣🤸♀️

In preparation for possible NTI due to flooding, ZMS will be open on Tuesday from 7:30-5:30 for Chromebook pickup. Please see other BCPS communication for further information. If needed, students can also access Google Classroom from other devices.

We are so grateful for Mrs. Spratt's dad, David Davison, for purchasing lunch for our staffulty today! We appreciate members of our community supporting ZMS. 💚

We are celebrating these 6th grade band students who made the KMEA 6th grade honor band! Way to go Timberwolves!! 🎵🎼

This week's Staffulty Shoutout goes to Mrs Beth Simler!! Mrs. Thompson says "Beth Simler puts students first. She holds her students to high expectations and they are successful because of the meaningful relationships she builds in her classroom."

This week's PACK Student shoutouts: Haylee Johnson and Jaicee Rogers. Mrs. Thompson says "Haylee has demonstrated courage in Arts and Humanities while performing in front of the class. She has a natural ability to use vocal expression, which helps her communicate effectively to her audience. I’ve been very impressed with her acting skills this year! I can also always count on Haylee to take pride in her work and do her best."
The 7th grade team collectively nominated Jaicee for showing Pride " Jaicee excitedly talks about girls volleyball and lets fellow students know how the team did and where they play next. Also, Jaicee always has a smile on her face, a kind word, and a positive attitude. Jaicee is a bright light and role model for her peers!- 7th- grade team"

Yearbooks for the 24-25 are on pre-sale! Scan the QR code to purchase online or wait until they come in person in May! See Ms. Hall for any questions.

We have some creative students! Mr. Dawson's 6th grade science classes had a choice project about weather patterns, maps and symbols. They could create posters, trading cards, digital books, even podcasts! #bepartofthePACK

Students in Ms. Hall's science classes are modeling elements and molecules with legos!

Make plans to support our North Middle soccer teams! Their first home games are next week, both at North Bullitt's field. The boys play on Tuesday 3/25 at 6 pm, and the girls on Wednesday 3/26 at 6pm. Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for students. Let's go Eagles!

Mr. Miracle's class worked on a science STEM lesson on problem solving and design! #bepartofthePACK

Join us in massively celebrating our 7th and 8th grade band in earning a DISTINGUISHED rating at their KMEA performance! This is equivalent to annual testing in other subject areas. We are so proud of Ms. Parsons and these students' excellence! #bepartofthePACK
