Special shout out to the RedZone Rowdies for their amazing support of BEHS Athletics.
Apparently people sitting behind them at Kroger Field couldn’t hear them. I assure you they were loud and on point with their cheering.

Kathy Mullins, the director of education at VIPS (Visually Impaired Preschool Services) was in last week to talk to Ms. Jones's class about visual impairments and blindness, and ways in which all areas of development are impacted. They discussed early intervention strategies, students learned about expanded core curriculum, and discovered ways to make learning more accessible for children with disabilities.
Students helped wrap children's books that will be given to children at VIPS at their holiday party- but there was a challenge! Students had the choice of goggles (to simulate a visual impairment) or a blindfold (to simulate blindness).
This was such a fun, wholesome, and RICH learning experience for everyone!
