Yesterday counselors met with seniors and senior families to cover information pertinent to senior year. Each student received a yellow handout and a "Getting In" book. The informational handout was sent to every senior parent via email this afternoon.

Bullitt East is excited to bring back it's annual Veteran's Day program as a way to honor and acknowledge our community members who have served our amazing country. Our program will be held Friday, Nov 8th @ 8:55am. Veterans who are community members or friends and family of Bullitt East students and staff (along with their guests) are invited to attend the program. The marching advanced to finals at the Boyle County Invitational this past weekend. This was the band’s first KMEA event in three years. It was a great return!

Soufflé was on the menu this week for Culinary 2 as a part of their egg and dairy unit. This group presented a strawberry cheesecake soufflé topped with fresh whipped cream and sliced strawberries.

Tomorrow is high attendance day! We will have drawings for prizes and treats for students. It is also Twin Day for Childhood Cancer Awareness Week. We look forward to seeing all of our Chargers at school tomorrow. #BE Present.
Thank you for a successful Childhood Cancer Awareness event. From your generous support, we raised $2,400. This will go toward the purchase of items used in child cancer centers in Louisville and Cincinnati, such as iPads, Nintendo Switch games, and speakers. We would like to also celebrate the Sophomore class for winning the Coin Wars - with $245 in their jar. They have been awarded 10 House points.
