Attention Morning Car Riders
This morning we had several kids walking on 44 after being dropped off at the strip mall on Eastbrooke Point because the sidewalks are still covered with snow. I want to make everyone aware that we are making an alternate drop off area at the crosswalk on Eastbrook Point near the student lots by the football field.
There is a crosswalk at the first entrance to the student parking lot that you can pull up to and let your student out. We have an AP, Mr. Crepps, stationed at that point to ensure traffic and students are moving safely. Please use this alternate drop off point instead of dropping off at the strip mall. The line in front of the building will stay the same. After dropping your student off, you will continue on Eastbrooke Point and exit towards Bardstown Road. No parents will be permitted to pull into the student parking lots. This option is only for drop off in the morning, this is not an option for pick up in the afternoon. This will create a much safer environment for our students in the morning.

Dear Parents and Guardians,

We are excited to welcome our students back to the building tomorrow after our NTI and snow days. We can't wait to see everyone and are looking forward to a great day of in-person learning together!

As we return, our main focus in the morning will be getting everyone into the building as safely and efficiently as possible. We will do our best to keep the drop-off line moving quickly, and we truly appreciate your patience and cooperation.

A few important notes for the morning:

- We know it will be very cold in the morning. To help the drop-off line move smoothly, we ask that students exit vehicles from any spot past the corner of the library.

- If your student is driving, all parking spots are clear. There are several spots behind the baseball field closest to Hughes Family Dentistry that are only partially uncovered, so we ask students to use extra caution in that area.

- We recognize that many students are new to driving and may be experiencing these conditions for the first time. Please remind student drivers to be careful across the entire campus as they arrive.

Mr. Brangers will be stationed near the baseball field area in the morning to assist students if needed. Our district facilities team did a fantastic job clearing sidewalks, allowing us to operate as normally as possible. They deserve a big THANK YOU! If you know someone on the facilities team, make sure you show them some gratitude for the hard work they've done to make our facilities safe for our students!

Thank you for your continued support, patience, and partnership. We truly appreciate all of you, and we can't wait to welcome your students back into the building tomorrow morning!

Teachers, staff and students,

Please take a few minutes after your day wraps up to help devices fully reset and prevent any small tech issues from popping up.

When you’re finished for the day, please:
Clear your browser cache
Check for any pending updates
Completely shut down your computer (not just close the lid)

We’ve seen a few issues recently with Google Meet features like cameras, microphones, and screen sharing. In many cases, those issues have been resolved simply by following the steps above. Allowing devices to fully shut down helps systems reset and run more smoothly.

Reach out to keith barnes at Keith.barnes@bullitt.kyschools.us for any additional information.

annoucement

Dear Perspective Student Drivers and Families,

We’re excited to support you as you prepare for your driver’s permit test!

To ensure a smooth experience, we recommend starting the No Pass/No Drive form process at least 10 calendar days before your scheduled appointment. This allows enough time for:

The student to complete their portion

Verification of student credentials

Required signatures to be gathered

Notification of completion (email to student)

Student pickup of the completed form

Processing typically takes 1–5 school days, depending on the volume of requests, staff availability, and the time of year. Please note that this is not a same-day or counter service process.

Breaks and holidays may cause delays. In these cases, we’ll share updates through Email, Text Messages, School Announcements, and Google Classroom.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. Best of luck on your upcoming test!

We hope everyone had a safe and productive NTI day today. Parents and guardians of Juniors, we want to remind you that your student will be taking the practice SAT tomorrow morning. Please push them to do their best and make sure your student gets plenty of rest and is ready to go tomorrow morning. The scores on this test will help organize students into groups for the SAT bootcamp we will have in March before students take the official SAT. We look forward to seeing everyone in the morning. Stay warm and stay safe. Go Chargers!
