Over the past month, our 7th grade science students have been participating in March Mammal Madness. Using what they've learned about animal adaptations, behaviors, environmental impacts, and habitats, students predicted which animals would advance in our tournament of 65 combatants. This week the championship was announced and the Wolverine defeated the Okapi. Each student's bracket prediction was scored and the following students placed at the top:
1st Place - Dallas Bridwell - 114 points
2nd Place - Landon Gray - 106 points
3rd Place (tie) - Chris Pottinger and Trey Rountree - 104 points
Our staffulty champion was a tie between Ms. Perdue and Mr. Raikes who each scored 99 points.
Congratulations to our winners and remember "If you're learning, you're winning!"

Special shout-out to Jayden Kearney and Damien Finn. Jadyn was individual runner up at Bullseye and Middle School Boys Individual State Champion at 3D! Damian received a plaque for placing 4th at 3D. Both of these young men shot personal records this weekend which is hard to do in such a stressful environment!! This team has done amazing things this year!
