Good Afternoon,
We wanted to send a message to inform our North Bullitt High School parents that we comply with Kentucky's No Pass/No Drive Law (KRS 159.051) which states that "schools will use academic (must pass 66% of their classes) and attendance data (nine unexcused absences) from the previous semester of the school year to determine whether 16- and 17-year-old students are compliant with the law. The student’s current driver’s license or learner’s permit is revoked if deemed noncompliant. This process occurs on a secure web portal that directly connects schools with the Kentucky Department of Transportation, Division of Driver Licensing."
On January 8th, teachers will post grades for the first semester, and non-compliance will result in entry into the web portal. Parents will be informed via a letter from the Kentucky Department of Transportation for non-compliance.
Thank you,
NBHS Administration
