Please help us in congratulating Mrs. Stephanie Lewis, the Specialized Programs Teacher of the Year!
There are few educators as dedicated to their students as Mrs. Lewis - this recognition from her own her colleagues proves it! We are incredibly thankful for her!

The Career Readiness Center (CRC) is a fantastic program that sometimes doesn't get the attention it deserves! Our CRC students are all in pathways at the Area Technology Center (ATC), such as: welding, aviation, industrial maintenance, carpentry, masonry, electrical, and automotive maintenance.
In addition, CRC students:
-Benefit from a smaller, close-knit environment with more 1:1 attention
-Do not lose time for travel to the ATC - it's right next door
-Have many opportunities for exploring different pathways at the ATC
-Have options for Junior and Senior years such as co-op
-Are still able to participate in home school activities such as sports and dances
We're having an Open House along with the ATC on November 28 from 5-7pm! Applications for next year will open in the Spring semester.

Bullitt Advanced Math and Science (BAMS) is one of the more well-known programs in the Specialized Programs.
Students in the BAMS program do all kinds of incredible things. They:
-Work with ATC and CRC students on the tiny house.
-Help Bernheim Forest with research on habitat rehabilitation, water quality, and more.
-Have a partnership with GE and engineer fantastic solutions to everyday problems.
-Complete their high school requirements in two years.
-Have the opportunity to attend JCTC, Craft Academy, or Gatton Academy for their 11th and 12th grade years. In fact last year, BAMS had more students accepted to Craft and Gatton than any other entity - including entire school districts!
And that's just a drop in the bucket!
If you are or know an 8th grader interested in applying for next year, the application will be out in the Spring semester.
