ZMS students and families, we are gearing up for the 2022-23 year! This summer has brought a lot of change to our school, and we have great things in store for our Timberwolves. We have a lot of back to school information for you and more will be coming soon!
**Open House will be held Thursday, August 4th.
5:30-6:30 6th grade families
7:00-8:00 7th and 8th grade families
We separated the grade levels because we will not have a 6th grade orientation, most students visited the building in the Spring.

**Chromebooks: Students who use a BCPS device will continue to pay the $35 annual fee. Families can pay at Open House, and students will receive their device the first few days of school. If families are unable to attend Open House, students can bring the fee later.

Hello ZMS Community,
I hope everyone is enjoying their summer and getting the well-deserved time to relax and spend time with family. As difficult as it is to send this email, I wanted to let you all know that I have accepted a position in another district. My family and I have been putting a lot of thought into moving and one of my main goals was to get a position where I serve the community that I reside in.
It was a pleasure to have the opportunity to serve the Zoneton community and I will greatly miss our day-to-day interactions. It has truly been an honor to work and grow with each of you and I wish you all nothing but the best.
I am sorry for the timing of this decision and I wish that I would have found out sooner. Mrs. Chadwell and I completed our principal certification program together a few years ago and I can say, without a doubt, that you all are being left in very good hands. She will bring a wealth of knowledge and support with her to ZMS.
Bullitt County Public Schools has been great to me and I know that there is always a chance that our paths may meet again. Take care and enjoy the rest of your summer! #Zonetonstrong

Don't forget the 8th grade promotion ceremony is TONIGHT 5:30 pm at North Bullitt. There are no tickets to buy nor limit on the number of people able to attend. 8th Grade students need to be in the cafeteria at NB no later than 5:15 pm. Doors will open at 5:00 pm
