The fall festival is quickly approaching. This year students will have the opportunity to decorate a pumpkin as a storybook character to have on display at the fall festival. During the fall festival families will be able to vote on their favorite pumpkin. The pumpkin with the most votes at the end of the night will be awarded $100 book fair cash.

This week's teacher spotlight goes out to Mrs. Watson. "Mrs. Watson is an incredible teacher! She shows up with a smile on her face daily, regardless of the day, and is constantly putting her students needs above anything else. She shows kindness to all and brings joy to those around her, students and teachers alike! I am so lucky to work with you this year!" -Mrs. Dixon
The OMES Principal's Parent Advisory Group meets once a month, providing a collaborative space for parents and school leadership to discuss key issues, share feedback, and work together to enhance the educational experience for all students. This group serves as a valuable bridge between the school and the community, ensuring that parents' voices are heard and actively involved in decision-making.
