It's time for the Staff Shoutout of the Week. This week we recognize Mrs. Gina Naes (formerly Iezzi) for her work on the ZMS Vibe Tribe. This committee of teachers has been working hard to create a fun culture for students and staff, making ZMS a place everyone wants to be! From welcoming decor, to PACK tickets, fun celebrations and more, Mrs. Naes helps lead our PACK!
Good morning!! We are a CEP eligible school which means all kids eat free both lunch and breakfast!! All families still need to fill out the Household income form to maintain accuracy for funding. We only have 75 families left to fill out the form. Huge shoutout to all the families who have filled it out already!

Mrs. Naes' student leadership enrichment class spread some joy yesterday!! All teachers and staff members received flowers and cards. It was a wonderful surprise and a good opportunity for our students to serve others.
Students are checking out books and reading on the new furniture in the library! We had some donations from the community that provide comfy reading areas to encourage our learners to enjoy a good book. One of our goals is to promote a culture of reading at ZMS this year because readers are leaders! One student has been enjoying her book so much that she is choosing to read while completing her walk minutes in PE class. 🥰📚📚
In Mr. Greenwell's College/Career Lab classes, students got their first hands on experiences at their "module" of learning! Featuring students learning to take blood pressure, created culinary energy bites, engineering and more! If you have an 8th grader ask them about their week!
