Reminder that fall picture day is THIS FRIDAY! Students should come dressed in their best smiles! :)

Before fall break, we had several winners drawn from student attendees at our Title I Literacy Night. Each student won a donated prize from the community, as well as their choice of book fair novel and poster! Way to go students!

Tomorrow is National Sports Day! To celebrate, ZMS students and staff can wear jerseys or their favorite sports related shirts! Hope to see everyone join in on the fun.

It's 8th grade night for our girls' basketball game! Good luck ladies!

It's National Custodian Day! We appreciate Ms. Rose and all she does to keep our school physically running. She works so hard and we recognize her efforts to keep our PACK in a clean environment for learning!

We experienced a power outage today due to a transformer issue, which was resolved around 12:30 PM. Please rest assured that all students were safe, fed, and engaged during this time. Thank you for your understanding.

Seventh grade students in Mrs. Thompson's Arts and Humanities class were learning about the Principles of Art and Design. To show movement, students drew an octopus moving through water. They colored it with both colored pencil and watercolor paint.

ZMS Staffulty Shoutout of the week goes to Ms. Abbie Miracle! As a flexible substitute, she is so helpful and kind in every classroom she serves. We appreciate you so much!

Snapshots of ZMS Student Learning: In Mrs. Badgley's social studies classes they have been studying medieval times. Students have been researching and designing their own heraldry shields as well as practicing medieval calligraphy skills. Students appreciate the opportunities for learning, reading and writing unlike most folks in those times!

Next week all students will get a chance to raise money for a good cause during 5th period enrichment time. For $1, students can pay to play basketball in the gym. All proceeds will be donated to pediatric cancer research. Let's show our PACK value of kindness! #bepartofthePACK

We are only days away from fun events happening at ZMS!! The Book Fair starts Monday, continues through Friday. Don't forget to sign up for "e-wallets" if you don't want to deal with cash or check. Tuesday night is our big Title I family literacy night!! We hope to see many of our Timberwolf families attend!

Save the Date! ZMS Picture Day is in 3 weeks on October 18! 📸

Chief Mahoney from the Hillview Police Department talked with our 6th and 7th graders about being active Community Contributors in and outside of school. In fact it's the Hillview motto: A Community of Friends! #movingforward #ourcommunityisafamily #bepartofthePACK
